Prepare for the Contest
Get Ready
Here's some more information to get ready for the contest!
Ruby Challenge
Most of the coding challenges will be able to solved in any programming language, even if they're geared at Ruby. You should still make sure you're familiar with Ruby so you can solve all the challenges. Need a review? Review the Learn Ruby tutorial to quickly pick up basic Ruby, and then do Ruby for Rails to learn about Object-oriented Ruby. Regardless, you should do the Rails Console practice challenge to get ready for the contest.
Rails Challenge
The Rails challenge won't be too complex, so everyone can participate in it. You can review these three rails tutorials to prepare for it. The initial starting project will be hosted on Bitbucket, so make sure you have a Bitbucket account!
